Disabled Refuge

To maintain compliance with current building regulations, all non-domestic buildings over one storey high must provide refuge areas – safe areas where people who can’t easily use fire escapes and evacuation lifts can call for assistance and wait safely until help arrives.

Disabled Refuge intercom systems provide two-way voice communication between a central control point and a number of other points throughout the building in the event of an emergency. Enabling the emergency services and disabled refuge users to stay in constant contact during an emergency evacuation.

We design, install and maintain fully-compliant Disabled Refuge systems bespoke to a wide range of sectors, including universities and many of the UK’s largest distribution centres. Benefit from our unique expertise to enhance the safety of your people and meet your legal obligations.
