Design, installation and commission of a bespoke fire alarm and detection system
We designed, installed and commissioned a bespoke fire alarm and detection system at JD Sport’s 616,000 square feet distribution centre in Rochdale. The flexible system comprises a multiple networked Honeywell Gent Vigilon System connected to a WINMAG graphics package. WINMAG provides a graphical view of the entire system, enabling JD’s team to locate any issues fast. As part of the two-phase project, we also connected the system to mobile devices using Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), providing real-time visibility to JD Sports’ facilities managers wherever they are, on or offsite.
