Servicing and maintenance of fire protection and life safety systems
The iconic Ministry of Sound nightclub launched in 1991 in a derelict bus garage in South London. As well as being the first club dedicated to house music in London, it was also the world’s first nightclub with a room built purely for exceptional sound quality. We service, maintain and manage the club’s fire protection and life safety systems, after managing the installation project itself. Our post-installation programme of planned preventative maintenance is delivered across four quarterly visits by our trained engineers, supported by our engineering team on call 24/7, 365 days a year. We also designed, installed and commissioned a multiple networked Honeywell Gent 4 Loop Vigilon System for the club, with alarm devices on the loop warning occupants in the event of a fire. The Vigilon System is considered one of the most comprehensive life safety systems on the market and it’s ideal for the challenging environment of a public entertainment venue.
