8th March marks International Women’s Day; a time for us to say thanks to all the hard-working women across the Obsequio Group, but as our team work hard 365 days of the year, dedicating just one day isn’t going to be enough. We’re sharing stories across the group that celebrate our female team and to kick-start things off, we wanted to introduce Nicki Prater, who as of December 2023 became our Managing Director. With over 20 years of experience in the fire and security industry, Nicki has a wealth of knowledge and a passion for keeping people safe.
For Nicki, leadership isn’t about commanding from the top; it’s about supporting and mentoring our team to ensure they can excel in their roles. She champions collaboration as the cornerstone of our success, recognising the value of every individual’s contribution and fostering a culture of inclusivity and support.

Nicki is quick to highlight the importance of recognising individual achievements, sharing knowledge, and encouraging one another. Moreover, Nicki is passionate about encouraging diversity in our industry, particularly among women.
