Complete Detection Systems Ltd burst into life on the 8th August 1988 and currently has three Directors; Martin Iliffe Managing Director, Anthony Mikunda Sales Director and Company Secretary and Lynne Sulley Financial Director.
Our company mission statement is to provide personal service in an efficient but friendly manner to private businesses and public sector clients alike.
Since 1988 the company has grown from two employees to employing a much larger workforce, all committed to delivering high quality service to our customers. While our main office is based in Leicestershire all our engineers are home based and live across the country to allow for a fast and effective service to our clients.
The company has enjoyed considerable success and celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2018.
At Complete Detection Systems we offer a complete range of solutions for Fire Alarm and Detection Systems, Emergency lights, Disabled Refuge, Nurse Call, Fixed Extinguishing and Portable Fire Extinguishers including:
- Service and Maintenance
- Design of new systems
- Supply of equipment
All in accordance with the current codes of practice.
In order to maintain continuity with site visits we will endeavour to assign the same engineer on each occasion. This will ensure familiarity with your system, our engineer will become aware of any bespoke procedures you may have in place and, as our client, you can then feel reassured that your site and system are in safe hands. As a BAFE accredited company, we are audited and checked annually to ensure the quality of the services we provided to our clients are continually maintained to a high standard. We are proud to offer a variety of different service and maintenance packages to suit your needs. We have set packages that provide different levels of covers.

Complete Detection Systems Ltd are proud to be able to offer our clients full remote monitoring of their fire alarm system. CDS became an authorised distributor for EMCS in 2005 which enables us to offer the supply and installation of either BT Redcare or DualCom which will connect your fire alarm system via a direct secure link to a monitoring station. The monitoring station will provide you with 24 hours / 365 day a year monitoring and in the event of an alarm condition will automatically call the fire and rescue service together with nominated site key holder.

The fire precautions in the workplace act stipulate that a Fire Risk Assessment should be carried out and the relevant records are made on all premises with occupants of 5 employees or more.
