The last year has been very successful and we are happy to announce that during this period we’ve been able to welcome four new team members into our organisation.

We pride ourselves on offering our customers an excellent service as well as being able to meet all of their requirements quickly and efficiently. As our client base grows our ability to maintain this service to our customers remains our primary objective and we truly believe that this is the main reason why over the last 26 years we have been able to retain our loyal clientele.

It was with this in mind that during the past year we’ve taken steps to ensure that our customers requirements remain at the forefront of our business.

In January 2014 we welcomed Sue as a new Service Coordinator. Having worked previously for a national service provider Sue has brought a wealth of experience of customer service as well as fantastic organisational & planning ability. Over the past year Sue has become an integral part of the service team who have continued to successfully achieve organisational objectives and goals.

In August 2014 Steve became a key member of our team as a Technical Design and Sales Estimator. In this ever growing fast paced world it had became apparent that those customers from the electrical contracting industry require a quick “turn around” in regards to receiving a completed quotation. Working alongside our sales team Steve has enabled us to achieve this goal and has allowed us to fulfill our customer requirements by enhancing and creating more dynamic specialised quotations. Managing equipment and material deliveries is always a difficult procedure. Our technicians are based across the country and so ensuring they have the correct part for a repair is challenging. In order to help meet the demands of both our clients & technicians we realised that we needed to create a dedicated position who’s job it was to ensure the challenges we faced were met. In September 2014 we hired Kris as our first dedicated Logistics Coordinator and since then have developed a strong effective solution to managing equipment and material deliveries.

Providing reliable delivery for products ordered through trade sales or otherwise has always been important to us. In order to achieve this we have formed a partnership with one of the largest parcel delivery company’s in the world, FedEx, who provide a fantastic service. So, when you want a piece of equipment delivered to site or to your HQ, with CDS working together with FedEx, you can rest assured with the knowledge that we can deliver.

With the ever growing demand on our projects department we decided that our projects team required additional assistance. As a result, in February 2015, we employed Alice as a Projects Coordinator. Alice will assist the Projects Team by maintaining and enhancing the customer experience from initial purchase to the final hand over of documentation while improving on our current performance criteria.
